1. What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the Muse service:

• Account information (name, email, age range, zip code)
• Messages and conversations you have with your Muse
• Files and data you choose to share with your Muse
• Usage information (which features you use, when)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card number)

2. What We Never Do

• ❌ We never sell your data to third parties
• ❌ We never use your conversations to train AI models without explicit consent
• ❌ We never share your personal information with advertisers
• ❌ We never access your Muse's memory without your permission

3. Your Muse's Memory

Your Muse stores memories to serve you better. These memories are:

• Stored securely and encrypted
• Accessible only to you and your Muse
• Exportable at any time — your data is always portable
• Deletable on request — you can wipe your Muse's memory at any time

4. Children's Privacy

Child accounts (under 18) require parental consent and are subject to additional protections. Child data is never used for any purpose beyond delivering the Muse Kids experience. Parents have full visibility and control over their child's account at all times.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Marketplace transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
